Victorian Mid-Terrace Conversion and Renovation

This showcases a comprehensive conversion and renovation of a Victorian mid-terrace property. Originally a three-story building, it has been transformed into four modern flats, each uniquely designed to maximize space and functionality.

Refurbishment of a Mid-Terrace Victorian Property

- A new rear and side extension featuring modern touches such as a glass roof on the side extension.

- A master ensuite bedroom in the newly added roof mansard.

- The basement cellar was underpinned and excavated to increase ceiling height, creating a cozy library and snug area.

We are delighted to present our renovation of a mid-terrace probate property, which was initially in a semi-derelict condition. This project focused on sympathetically renovating and refurbishing the home while retaining its original Victorian features both internally and externally. The property now comprises four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The family bathroom is a full-room size, featuring a Victorian-style roll-top steel bath and a 1.8m walk-in shower. Throughout the home, original exposed floorboards have been retained, as well as the front and rear reception room fireplaces and original plaster of Paris coving.

Externally, the front elevation had weather and structural damage to architectural stone features, which were meticulously restored to their original glory. This included brickwork repairs, repointing, and the addition of a modern patio and garden to the rear. This project highlights our dedication to preserving historical charm while integrating modern conveniences, resulting in a beautiful blend of old and new
